1. Eligibility and Acceptance
1.1. Paid Subscriptions and points features are offered by Bonded (BN3D) (“Bonded”, “we”, “us”, “our”) subject to these terms and the Terms of Use.
1.2. To access the Bonded platform, including any Paid Subscription features:
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must successfully complete the mandatory onboarding and identity verification process, including photo and video “liveness” verification.
1.3. By purchasing a Paid Subscription or BND Points, you confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements and agree to these terms.
2. Paid Subscriptions (Premium)
2.1. Premium Subscription Overview
Bonded offers a recurring Premium Subscription that provides access to enhanced features. A description of current Premium features is available within the Bonded application and may be updated from time to time.
Premium features are available only to verified accounts and are non-transferable.
2.2. Premium Subscription Benefits
Subject to verification status and compliance with these terms, Premium subscribers may receive the following benefits:
- Priority Discovery: New member profiles are shown before those of non-Premium users.
- Match Organisation: The ability to control which new matches enter active chat slots without queue restrictions.
- Likes Visibility: View profiles that have liked you.
- Reconnect Message: The ability to send one reconnect message if removed from an active chat slot.
- Enhanced Rewards: Earn up to 15% additional Points from eligible interactions.
- Profile Visibility Boost: Increased profile exposure within your local discovery area.
- Poinrs Purchase Discount: Up to 10% discount on in-app points purchases.
- Ghost Mode (where available): Keep your profile active while hidden from discovery.
- Swipe Back Feature: Undo up to five previous discovery swipes.
Bonded does not guarantee matches, interactions, or outcomes.
2.3. Subscription Duration and Renewal
2.3.1. Premium Subscriptions are offered on monthly or annual recurring billing terms. Pricing is displayed in the app at the time of purchase.
2.3.2. Automatic Renewal: Unless cancelled, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price.
2.3.3. Any price changes will apply only on renewal and will be communicated where required by law or platform rules.
3. Verification and Access Restrictions
3.1. Access to Premium features requires successful completion and ongoing maintenance of Bonded’s verification process.
3.2. Bonded reserves the right to suspend or terminate Premium access if:
- Verification is rejected or revoked;
- A profile is determined to be fraudulent, misleading, or impersonating another individual;
- The user violates the Terms of Use or Community Guidelines.
3.3. Where access is revoked due to user misconduct or misrepresentation, any remaining subscription time may be forfeited, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights.
4. Payments, Billing, and Cancellation
4.1. In-App Purchases
4.1.1. Paid Subscriptions and BND Points purchases are processed via Apple App Store or Google Play Store in-app purchases.
4.1.2. Payment processing, refunds, and billing disputes are governed by the terms of the applicable app store provider. Platform fees retained by Apple or Google are determined solely by those platforms.
4.2. Cancellation
4.2.1. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
4.2.2. Effect of Cancellation: Cancellation prevents future renewals. You will continue to have access to Premium features until the end of the current billing period.
4.2.3. Refunds: Payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. This does not affect your statutory rights.
5. BND Points
Bonded operates a closed-loop, in-app points system.
5.1. Nature of Points
5.1.1. “Points”, and “BND” are digital, non-transferable units used solely within the Bonded platform.
5.1.2. Points:
- Have no cash value
- Are not legal tender
- Are not electronic money or financial instruments
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
5.2. Use of Points
Points may be used for in-app features including:
- “Shoot Your Shot” messages
- Swipe backs
- Digital or physical gifts fulfilled via third-party partners
Available uses may change over time.
5.3. Purchasing BND Points
5.3.1. points are sold in bundles displayed in the app (e.g., 100 Points).
5.3.2. Purchase confirmation is provided by the relevant app store.
5.4. Earned Points and Rewards
5.4.1. Users may earn Points through eligible interactions.
5.4.2. Redeemable vs Non-Redeemable Points: Certain Points (e.g., promotional or bonus rewards) are spend-only and not eligible for redemption.
5.5. Redemption
5.5.1. Eligible Points may be redeemed for selected gift cards.
5.5.2. All redemptions are subject to identity verification, fraud and compliance review, and manual approval.
5.5.3. Bonded aims to process redemptions within three (3) business days, though delays may occur.
5.5.4. A redemption fee (typically 10–25%) may be deducted to cover processing, platform, and operational costs. The applicable fee is displayed at the time of redemption.
6. Gift Cards and Third-Party Fulfilment
6.1. Gift cards are fulfilled by Bonded’s third-party partner and may be branded within the Bonded app.
6.2. Delivery is made electronically to the designated recipient.
6.3. Redemption and use of gift cards are governed by the terms and conditions of the relevant retailer. Bonded is not responsible for third-party retailer performance.
7. Suspension and Termination
7.1. Bonded may suspend or terminate access to Paid Subscriptions or Points where a user:
- Violates the Terms of Use;
- Engages in abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful conduct;
- Fails verification or re-verification checks.
7.2. In cases of termination for cause, remaining Points and subscription time may be forfeited, subject to applicable law.
7.3. Where practicable, Bonded may provide notice or an opportunity to appeal.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bonded:
- Does not guarantee matches, interactions, or outcomes
- Is not liable for user conduct or third-party services
- Is not responsible for losses arising from misuse of BND Points
Nothing in these terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
9. Governing Law
These Paid Subscription and BND Points Terms are governed by the laws specified in the Bonded Terms of Use.
